 Jinko ESS has successfully delivered one of the largest standalone energy storage projects in Greece to date, marking another major milestone in the country's rapidly growing energy storage market. The project deploys Jinko ESS's 0.5P G2 energy storage system, featuring long-cycle-life cells to enhance system durability and lifetime value, along with advanced grid-forming and black-start capabilities. With a two-hour storage duration, the system provides critical grid support, enhances power system resilience, and facilitates the integration of renewable energy.

The Romania Zorline project represents a significant milestone in Jinko ESS’s expansion in Southeast Europe. The project deploys three SunTera G1 liquid-cooled energy storage systems with a total capacity of 10.32 MWh to support grid stability and renewable energy integration. Designed for Romania’s challenging climate conditions, the systems feature an intelligent battery management system, five-layer safety protection, an IP55 rating, and advanced liquid-cooling technology that keeps cell temperature differences within 2.5°C. The project demonstrates Jinko ESS’s commitment to advancing the region’s clean energy transition.

Jinko ESS deployed a utility-scale energy storage system for Athens International Airport (AIA) to support its 2025 carbon neutrality target. Upon completion, AIA will become the operator of the largest self-consumption system among airport facilities worldwide and the first international airport to achieve 100% energy self-sufficiency. The project is also Greece’s first utility-scale energy storage system integrated with a PV plant.
