 Jinko ESS has successfully delivered one of the largest standalone energy storage projects in Greece to date, marking another major milestone in the country's rapidly growing energy storage market. The project deploys Jinko ESS's 0.5P G2 energy storage system, featuring long-cycle-life cells to enhance system durability and lifetime value, along with advanced grid-forming and black-start capabilities. With a two-hour storage duration, the system provides critical grid support, enhances power system resilience, and facilitates the integration of renewable energy.

Jinko ESS signed a landmark framework agreement, further strengthening the strategic partnership between the two parties in large-scale battery energy storage systems (BESS). Signed at METLEN’s headquarters in Athens, the agreement establishes a framework for deploying more than 3 GWh of energy storage projects in Chile and Europe. The collaboration centers on a 1.6 GWh project currently under development in Chile, for which Jinko ESS will supply its advanced G2 Utility Series energy storage systems, with full delivery scheduled for Q4 2025.

The Romania Zorline project represents a significant milestone in Jinko ESS’s expansion in Southeast Europe. The project deploys three SunTera G1 liquid-cooled energy storage systems with a total capacity of 10.32 MWh to support grid stability and renewable energy integration. Designed for Romania’s challenging climate conditions, the systems feature an intelligent battery management system, five-layer safety protection, an IP55 rating, and advanced liquid-cooling technology that keeps cell temperature differences within 2.5°C. Located at the MGP mining site in Masbate Province, Philippines, this project features an innovative 1C-rated energy storage microgrid system supporting sustainable mining operations. The system operates in coordination with an 8.1 MW PV plant, substantially reducing reliance on diesel generators. Its intelligent controller forecasts PV generation and proactively optimizes diesel generator dispatch to ensure a stable and reliable power supply. The solution reduces the load on existing diesel generators while improving project economics through lower fuel consumption and O&M costs, offering a cleaner and more efficient energy solution for the mining industry.

Jinko ESS deployed a utility-scale energy storage system for Athens International Airport (AIA) to support its 2025 carbon neutrality target.
