Recently, Jinko ESS, a highly innovative provider of energy storage solutions, announced the successful delivery of Tahiti’s first large-scale photovoltaic and energy storage system (PV + ESS) project, located in Tahiti, French Polynesia. This milestone marks an important step for French Polynesia on its path towards a sustainable future.

The project covers an area of 10 hectares and is equipped with 8.6 MW of Jinko Tiger Neo series PV modules and 17.2 MWh of SunTera energy storage systems. It is expected to generate over 15,000 MWh of electricity annually, equivalent to providing clean, reliable and sustainable energy to more than 5,000 households in Tahiti.

Jinko ESS’s Blue Whale SunTera system features C5-grade corrosion resistance, making it capable of adapting to Tahiti’s coastal environmental conditions and climate, while ensuring long-term system stability and high durability.
