JinkoSolar and Xinlinfei complete first delivery of Blue Whale liquid-cooled energy storage order
2024.09.23

Recently, JinkoSolar, a global leader in photovoltaic and energy storage, announced that the first phase of the 340 MWh liquid-cooled energy storage system order signed with Jiangsu Xinlinfei Energy Technology Co., Ltd. has been successfully delivered, with the first batch of Jinko Blue Whale liquid-cooled energy storage systems SunTera G2 now completed.

The Jinko Blue Whale 5 MWh liquid-cooled energy storage system SunTera G2 delivered in this batch integrates JinkoSolar’s latest R&D 314 Ah high-energy-density cells and adopts an industry-leading liquid-cooled thermal management system. Through precise thermal management control, the system maintains the temperature difference between battery modules within 2°C, ensuring that the energy storage system maintains optimal operating temperature ranges even under high-power output. This significantly enhances the overall performance and reliability of the system, while extending equipment service life and reducing life-cycle O&M costs.

The Jinko Blue Whale 5 MWh liquid-cooled energy storage system SunTera G2 sets a new technical benchmark in the industry with its six outstanding advantages: high energy density, high charge-discharge efficiency, high safety, low O&M costs, low auxiliary power consumption, and long cycle life. Its 94% round-trip efficiency (RTE) and cycle life of 8,000 to 10,000 cycles ensure high efficiency and economic viability throughout the system’s entire operational lifespan. These products will be deployed in energy storage projects in Gaoyou City, Jiangsu Province, providing stable, efficient and safe power supply to the local area, and accelerating the widespread adoption of clean energy technologies and the green transformation of the energy structure.
